Does Gentleman Jim have a passenger seat? Did they have to fabricate that canopy, or is it original? You never see Mustangs with that raked canopy.

Here is a link to 46 P-51 profiles I was able to get on Sunday. I wish I could have collected them all. There was just too much to see in one day! A great show for sure. If anyone would like to add to this profile page I'd be glad to post your pictures.

Nice pix! How exactly did you attach the telescope to your camera again?

I love the paint job on the P-63/39?

Looks really authentic, like it just flew in from 1943.

It is a P-63, a very nice one at that. I wish I had gotten a few shots of it when it had some of it opened up.

Tim,

I also wish you had gotten a few more shots of it. haha...

Do you have any idea who owns it and where it's home base is?

Cheers,

David

P.S. To anyone out there, I saw a P-39Q at the Tillamook Air Museum. It appeared to be under restoration. Does anyone know the current state of it? How quickly is work progressing? From what I could tell, it doesn't seem to be worked on, unless they clean everything up at the end of each day they work on it.

It's a P-63 and it's owned by John Bagley. I think he's from Idaho. The a/c was originally restored by Square 1 for Frank Borman the astronaut.

There was so much to see at GML, I'm still going through photos.
It was real nice to see everbody also. Starting at breakfast and going
through late evening, we must have met up with over a dozen from WIX every day.

Here is a shot of the P-63 with gear coming up.
And a few more P-51s.
