Warbird Information Exchange

Recently there has been some confusion as to what the WRG/WIX is so here is brief summary.

The Warbirds Resource Group is a collection of sites, including this one, brought together under one banner. These sites are created and maintained by myself for roughly the last 10 years. For most of that time the expense for running the sites came out of my pocket. Recently the popularity of the sites have allowed me to generate an income of $100-$150 a month on average. This money, along with the occasional donation by our wonderful members, goes to supporting the site. I spend between 15-30 hours a week or more running the site. I do this out of love for the subject and don't pull a salary. I do this for free. Everyone else who contributes to this forum does so for similar reasons and does so without monetary compensation.

I just wanted to clarify that this is a wholely volunteer operation. We don't have the resources of the big magazines but we do pretty well with what we have. I appreciate all the help I have received over the years and with continued support we will continue to grow in the years to come.

I want to thank everyone who has submitted pictures and information. However, I am the only coder (with a couple of exeptions) for the site and thus it can take some time to get through the backlog of e-mails. Some could take a year or more to process. I wish I could do it faster but I have a full time and a part time job in addition to working on the site.
I will get through the e-mails eventually, please just have patience.
