I guess this is the most logical place to pose the question.

I have a notification that I have "0 new messages, 1 unread message" yet I can't find that unread message! I got a pm, and it said 1 unread. I clicked on it, and now it says what I quoted above. Where am I not looking for this mysterious unread pm??

Is your file full and not letting the new message post?

No, I cleared it out recently. I had a new pm this morning and it said "1 new, 2 unread". When I clicked on the 1 new pm, it went back to "0 new message". Weird.

It may be that the original message was deleted by the sender before you read it...

It has happened to me a few times before.

I've had some issues with PMs recently, I had over 100 drop into my inbox this morning, some 6 months old. Apparently if your inbox is full, or the site THINKS it's full then the new PM's hang in limbo for awhile. I've adjusted some of the settings. Let me know if anything weird happens. Thanks.

I have the same "0 new messages, 1 unread message" notification. Everything else is working fine. I do have a few deleted PMs that came back, but I guess that is because of the date y'all captured the original information.

Thanks for all the hard work you put into the site!
Scott
