Hi all, I have created Episode 0 of the WIXCAST podcast. This is more of a test than a full fledged podcast, hence the 0 designation. You can find it at

Episiode 0
http://wixcast.warbirdinformationexchan ... -64bit.mp3

If yoiu have quicktime installed then it will probably play just by clicking on it. If not the right click on the link and save link as...

And save it to your hard drive and listen to it there.

WARNING: It is a 4.3mb file. I will see about creating a spaller one if needed but the quality goes downhill rapidly.

Let me know you comments, suggestions and critiques.

And 1 bonus point for the first person to identify the type of aircraft heard at the beginning of the podcast.

Thanks, and Episode 1 should be coming soon.

Excellent, Enjoyed episode 0.

My first guess was a P-38 and wrong.
With Scott, I should have known, Me-109

Sweet! 8)
Now Ill have something interesting to listen to on the bus.
Great idea Scott, just a thought is to maybe have the airshow videos put out as a video podcast.

Smart lad. Actually this year I will be lugging a videocamera around instead of the 20D just for that purpose!

Okay, now this is the part that scares me. I have set up a voice mail number where you can call and leave messages, comments, critiques and whatnot. Be warned, I have the technology and power and whimsicalness to record and play these voice mails during the podcasts so watch what you say!

The number is 1-508-471-3959, its not toll free, sorry, long distance charges (if any) apply.

Sounds good. The opener is something Merlin powered...or sounds that way to me.

Perhaps next year I'll make a guest WIXCAST from overseas with some "modern" warbirds in action, heh heh.

In German, wix means masturbating.

So the Wixers are wankers.

You must have it cranked or have sensative ears, I can barely hear it on three different computers and an MP3 player. I will endeavor to minimize it in future podcasts. Thanks for the feedback.
