From September 17 through 19, EAA members will be hosting their first Canadian EAA convention. It will be held in conjunction with the Vintage Wings’ “Victoria Cross” air show in Gatineau, P.Q., just 15 minutes northeast of Ottawa.
CWH, Russell Group, and VWoC come together with the EAA to honour our vets.

K225 will we see a formation of the Victory Cross aircraft? This was talked with last year with Tim L. ( going to miss him in the Mustang ) If I remember right it was the F4U, Pby and Lanc.

Any idea if SL721 will be ready for this show? The way the Russell prop annual has gone this year I hope it makes it this year, the Merlin flight might be short a few Spits :(

Any info you have will be appreciated.

Cheers Dave C

Dave just to let you know SL721 was run up today sounds great. looks great to. The weather didn't cooperate enough for its first flight though probably later this week. The first arrival for the EAA fly in was a Norseman from Wrong Lake Airways been here since the Air Rally.

Looks like we can add T33 #577 from JAM to the list.
