I'm new to this forum, but not this subject,so I'll give an announcement on the gathering
of the" Old Timers" for a reunion of Pilots,Crew,Maint. personnel of the 509th composite
Unit at The ROSWELL,New Mexico Independence Day Celebration and anniversary of the
Crash Incident that is still disputed by the uninformed. (July 1-5)
Festivities will be centered at the International UFO Museum on Main st. with original
witnesses and veterans who were there in 1947 giving their testimony of how the commander
of the base knew this was not one of their balloons, and the arrests and confiscation
conducted to retrieve the "foil and balsa sticks"from the surrounding ranchers.
Invited speakers include Col.jesse Marcel jr. USA Ret.,son of the Major Marcel who brought
home a carry-all full of debris to show his son late that night, and told him" it was a flying saucer",
and was ordered to pose with a kite on the general's floor for a News photographer.
Donald Schmitt and Tom Carey, both experienced investigators of the incident will be giving
seminars on the Military witnesses found most recently that confirm what we suspected:
we are not alone. Extended gathering will meet at bld.P-3 or hanger 84 on sunday night if the weather
is not too bad.
Even if you think it was just an Atom Bomb staff and crew not knowing what their balloon kites
looked like when one comes down,It would be interesting to count the dozens of Veteran Officers
who are willing to admit their "mistaking" metal skin that wouldn't burn or bend, and support
stiffeners that wouldn't burn or break as something unusual.
The Sec.of The U.S.Air Force recently said personnel are free to talk about their experience in Roswell.
(now that most of them are dead.)
