Anyone going to the warbird fly-ins at Elkhart (EKM) or Watervliet (40C) this weekend? Elkhart is on Saturday, gates open at 7 a.m. Cost is $10 per person or $30 per carload, and there will be formation flying at 10 and 1 with a lunch being served somewhere in there.

Watervliet is Sunday morning. The event there runs from 9-3, with lunch being served 11-3. I went to this one last year and they had an F4U-5, 16 T-6s and 4 Stearman. The best part about this one is its held at a grass airfield, so you have a really neat atmosphere to see lots of warbirds (and it's free).

I was told there should be in the neighborhood of 30 warbirds at each of these events and I'm guessing most of the aircraft at Elkhart will also be at Watervliet. I'm definitely going to Watervliet, not sure about Elkhart yet because of my job. Would love to meet up with some people if anyone else is going.
