Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know about this.
There will be a Military Vehicle Show on the grounds of the Wurtsmith Air Museum at the former Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda Michigan
Pic from last year

The Air Museum will co ordinate the flyins.
We had one historic military aircraft flyin last year.
This is a free show!
The MIMVPA will provide a ground liason for each historic military aircraft in attendance. This liason will handle any ground transport needs for food, lodging or supplies.

check out last years pics over at http://www.mimvpa.org/mimvpa/MIMVPA-Oscoda11.htm

Airport code KOSC

Great Development! Fuel Discount!

The Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport FOB, operated by a division of Phoenix Composite Solutions, primarily an Aircraft Parts Manufacturing Company with large facilities operating in the vicinity of the MIMVPA Show Site, is doing their part to contribute towards the awesome success of the Show has graciously offered and will put into effect an Aviation Fuel Discount that will be active from Wednesday June 7th through Sunday June 10th during the Oscoda Show for any Vintage Military Aircraft, or any civilian aircraft that simply but specifically want to fly in to the MIMVPA Event. The discount will be “$.10 over delivery price/their cost” and that margin and resultant total cost to any fuel purchaser will barely cover their administrative and other costs of handling the fuel. The EXACT price of the Avgas cannot be given at this moment, because they will receive at least 2 more deliveries of fuel prior to the event in June-bottom line once again: the fuel price will be ten cents over their cost!

Still a few inside vendor tables left.
Weather outlook is fantastic~!

This is not going to be a show to miss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Each vintage military aircraft will be assigned a ground liason person, to address any local ground transportation issues.
We'll see that you are taken care of, see ya there!
