Just checked the Collings website and they are planning on being at Ft. Worth , Meacham Field, April 1-4. This is really good news , I will be there in Ft. Worth visiting relatives and was planning on going to visit V.F.M and others and this will be a bonus. I have taken flights in their B-17 and B-24 in the past and will get to see them again. Last time I was at V.F.M. "Chuckie" was there and Special Kay was in need of the care it is being given now, can't wait to get there.

I'll be there on Monday for the arrival!

And I'm planning on going over to Love Field on Sunday to say hi to the guys as well!

I'll be there Saturday the 23rd. Should be fun. It will be my first time to Dallas Love Field.

Yesterday's trip to Dallas Love Field was well worth the trip from Norman, Oklahoma. The Collings Wings of Freedom Tour didn't do any flying because the weather just didn't allow it. Got to meet and talk with some of the crew. Think I'll offer to volunteer at their Oklahoma City stop at Wiley Post Airport. The Frontier of Flight Museum was also pretty awesome. I'm going to make it a point to go back.

P-51C, Betty Jane. This was as close as I could get to Betty Jane. The upside to her being behind the ropes is that there isn't a crowd all over the plane.

B-17 Nine O Nine drew a pretty good crowd.

It was fun. The crew was great! The Museum was great!
