This Saturday the 30th, the annual Lancaster Warbird parade will be held at the KLNC airport. There has been good turn out in the past and Cavanaugh usually brings the house. Hope you all make it out there. Stop by my hangar...

A great day for Warbirds, sorry Karen that you had to park in the handicap row with the other Buick's. I watch a elderly vet walking and waiting for the B-24 to arrive as he was wearing a B-24 vet hat. He had given up on her when over the hangar, the A-26 and the B-24 arrive which put a big smile on his face. He served 18 months in England under the command of Jimmy Stewart...

Had a nice visit to Lancaster today. Was a little warm but hey it's August in Texas. My daughter enjoyed climbing around the inside of the R4D.

Got there in time to see Diamond Lil flyover and land. A few pics...

I'm sad I had to miss it again. Didn't get off until 2pm and then didn't make it home until after 3:30pm. Did get to see the last stragglers leaving over the house though. But it looks like another great turnout so I'm glad to see it.

Hopefully next year (which is what I've said the last 3 or 4...).

Let us see if this works. I took a lot of pictures at Lancaster this weekend, I will post a link to where they are on Facebook. Everyone should be able to see them (is what FB claims anyways!). The first set is from Friday, and you have to click the link.
