It's really sad that they keep doing this. I live near them this has happened more than most people know. Where warbirds go to die.

Looks like Plane's of Fame's Stearman used for Pearl Harbor and other filmwork. Glad to hear the pilot is unharmed. Hopefully she'll be rebuilt.

Who is they and what is your point? The Stearman will be rebuilt. It is not a rare aircraft by any stretch of the imagination.

That's actually stale / old news (almost a week ago?) and everyone walked away. Plane will be rebuilt. What a stupid news report, BTW.

The Stearman might not be rare, but the reporter said it was a Beechcraft B-175 identified as such by the FAA! Now that is rare! Reminds me of the FAA calling us and wanting to know why we didn't report the incident of landing our C-47 with a nose wheel problem. When we told the FAA inspector it was a C-47 he said "well that is no excuse why didn't you follow up with an incident report"!
