Does any one know where I can find a M-1 Garand. I know that new ones can be had, but I don't watn to fire it, just want one to hang on a wall in my ga,eroom. SO i hate to buy a new one for that. I would love to find a real one that no longer fires.

The new ones are cut rate copies of the old ones and aren't as good or valuable in my opinion.

Well, you could have gotten one from the CMP for $395. It would still be fully functional though. You just need to go to the gun shows or look on the firearm aucton sites, theres always garands a plenty on the internet. If you don't want to fire it you should look for one with a demilled reciever. Good luck

You can get an M-1 drill rifle (welded this and welded that) from CMP. They run $295 plus shipping.
