I want to build a group of fellows and ladies who can portray all the services ground crews in order to enhance the aircraft at airshows. Our unit has 10 now but we are always needing more. If you are interested and love being around airplanes and want to portray a truely forgotten section of history drop me a P.M or email me at: sdunkirk@yahoo.com.

All interested parties,
I believe it's time to build a group of people around the country that represent the forgotten ground crews of WW2. It's about time these individuals story and accomplishments were told to the general public so the surviving veterans can get the praise they so highly deserve. Drop me a line or PM me here on this forum if interested. THANKS!

Scott

Hi Scott;
Great idea, but I wonder if you were aware that there is a group out there that's been doing just what you are interested in since the 1980's.
it's the WWII Airmen's Preservation Society. I've been a member since 1989 and they have several units in a few states. We've even been used in films and TV productions including the Roaring Glory series of aircraft documentaries. We also have portrayed Navy and Marine units too!
I'd try contacting them if you're interested.
Blue skies,
Jerry
