Hi All,
Here's my attempt at CA's 1/48th Westland Whirlwind which I hope you will enjoy.

Finished as P7062 for no other reason than I have a photograph of that aircraft on my wall.

Hey Tony, wow great job!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing. I really like the paint scheme. Also, very nice detail in the cockpit. What type of paint did you use and how long did it take you to finish this?????

Thanks Dave,
For this job, I used Humbrol enamels for this job but I also use Humbrol, Lifecolor and Tamiya acrylics as these tend to be less smelly and stop 'she who thinks she should be obeyed' from complaining too much.

I guess that it has taken 4-5 months from start to finish but I've not worked on it continuously during that time and guess that total build-time would be about 4 weeks.

The cockpit was brush painted while the external painting was done with a airbrush with the demarcation lines masked with Blu-Tac (sorry for advertising) and Tamiya masking tape.

This was the 2nd CA kit that I have built (the other being the Battle T1 trainer) and while not a 'throw together' kit like those from the main stream manufacturers, I'm pleased with the finished article on both occasions.
