I like how the weathering on your models is not overdone.

Thanks, alot of times i try to keep it down to a minimum, but airplanes can get filthy dirty. I work as a aircraft mechanic at an airlines and even these commercial jets get real dirty.

Another beautiful build! Great job on the weathering too.

I've got a modified testors mustang that I need to finish thatis in the same scheme. I foiled the fuselage but for some reason didnt foil the wings, gotta figure out how I'm gonna paint that.

I'm guessing that is a tamiya mustang?

Good news! Even bare metal P-51's had filled and painted wings, so a simple silver spray would work for you.

This model portrays the personal mount of Col. Thomas Christian, commander of the 361st Fighter Group, 8th Air Force. Col Christian was reported missing in action over Belgium on August 12, 1944 while piloting this aircraft.

I know...just a little teasing over the never-ending "Blue Lou vs. Green Lou" controversy in the modeling community (I'm firmly in the "green" camp myself.)

All of your models are very nice. I really wish I had an Alps printer myself..there are a number of projects I want to do that require custom decals. I can do the artwork myself with no problem, but printing is another story.

Yea, the ALPS is a pain in the butt, I wish I could do the artwork then send it out to like Microscale or something and have them do me a couple sets, but they want like 1200 sets as a minumum.

Your model looks really nice. I like the way you've photographed it too.
Steve beat me to the wise crack about it not being blue  . That's one of those mistakes, that after such a long period of time, it got accepted as fact.

Whenever one of your ExpressJets breaks in YYZ they call me!
