Just finished this up over the weekend. A difficult kit on it's own made even more so because I wanted to add a slatted wing (Scobie-Do)...some work! I'm ready for a Tamiya OOB build next.

Kit markings represent the 101st FIS (Irish Air Force) of the MA ANG out of Boston's Logan Int. AP back in the 50s. I'm slowing building up a collection of Mass ANG aircraft and the "H" model Sabre is amongst the most elusive as the only offering in '48 scale is the out of production, hard to find (and expensive if you can!) Collect Aire kit. I considered doing an F-86F conversion but when I found an "H" for less than $200.00 bucks I felt it was worth my sanity.

I used a canopy and windscreen from Monogram's F-86D, RBF flags from Expert's Choice and painted it using various Alclad shades of Aluminum.

Excellent work! We might have one or two in the museum gift shop. Let me take a look.

If you have any extra ANG decals left over… we could really use a nice CT ANG P-47N! We can supply the model.

Arrrggghh...I wish I had that picture before hand. The decals in the kit nor the instructions mention the white leading edge of the intake. The shamrock is also oversized...I should of picked up one of the 1/72nd Special Hobby F-86H kits. Oh well, I won't lose any sleep over it. :drinkers:
