Not intending to collect them per-se, but I do have a small collection.

I have somewhere near 100 1/24 cars now (if I haven't already gone over 100), but I assume you want to know about airplanes.

I've seen few diecast airplanes that I couldn't build a better model of myself (and usually much cheaper to boot), but I do have a few--1/48 P-51D, P-47D, and T-34, and I think maybe a Grumman Goose or some sort of Grumman amphib.

I have a collection of over 100 1:48 scale military die-cast aircraft. I have 1 of each different type of aircraft available with the exception of 2 F4U Corsairs, 2 f-15s, and 2 F/A-18s. My father in law built me 2 large curio cabinets and I have 1 corner curio cabinet for the smaller planes.

Nice collection.
I have a few...A Corgi B-17G because my dad flew one, Don Gentile's P-51B because I have an autographed copy of his book, a B-1 and C-130 with markings from my last active duty base...
But mainly two themes:
-multiple Bell 47 helicopters...two sizes of Corgis, a old Dynaflights dime store model, even a new Mattel Batcopter...because I used to fly one
-several American Airlines DC-3 in a variety of scales...A small tribute to Ernie Gann and my appreciation of Fate is the Hunter.

Mostly I collect manufacturers desk models.
Must have about 50, namely USAF from the 50s-90s.

My die-cast model car collection, which ranges from HO scale to 1:12 scale, numbers in the thousands (literally). I have a handful of die-cast aircraft models, too.
