Hey there - any suggestions for a basic WWII era flat bed trailer? I need one for a atomic bomb test unit display and the test unit I have is 1/48th scale. Thanks, Tom P. |

My first idea is to tell you to look where O Scale model railroad accessories/scenery are sold. I'm aware of some lines of industrial-type machines and vehicles available in 1/50 scale diecast. Maybe something there. |

As you know 1/48th vehicles are rare. Here is something that might work... The trailer is 40s-50s vintage, but it might be close enough or you could modify it. https://www.oldmodelkits.com/index.php? ... -H1821-169 You should be able to buy the kit cheaper than the price offered above from an auction site or collector, as the seller/website I posted seems a bit high (I've had customer service issues with him). |
