I just thought that everyone might enjoy a couple of modelsites I belong to.

www.aircraftresourcecenter.com

www.modelwarships.com

Both sites are free, and are great for modelers.

NEw member, thought I could contribute a small amount

I have had nothing but bad experiances with that site. Many are rude and snobby and take the hobby WAY too seriously! I guess they don't like honest good people who want the hobby to be fun and not pressured! I am not saying everyone, but there are a few people there that I would not care to ever chat with again. Hyperscale is ok, but modelingmadness is the better of the three.

Don't forget:

http://www.internetmodeler.com/ I love the "old kit corner"

and

http://www.helikitnews.com/ international in scope...all helicopters with some very knowledgeable posters.

HYPERSCALE.COM and MODELINGMADNESS.COM are my two favorites.

Hyperscale seems to be the most user friendly, heavily populated, and the best source for kit for trade and sale.

Modeling Madness has fantastic reviews and resources which are much more easily accessed than Hyperscale or Aircraft Resource Center.

I use all three of these sites quite extensively, and even those warbird enthusiasts who have no interest in plastic modeling would enjoy browsing the sites.
