Tom, I've visited Aerofiles before, specifically to print out WACO model nomenclature as per WIXers' suggestion. I just haven't looked at too many other makes.

I can think of no better website to go to if you want to learn about antique airplanes. I have contributed alot of stuff to them!

I am particulary interested in finding the originals (negatives) of the following pictures: [http://www.flickr.com/photos/27619644@N02/3068475312/][/img][http://www.flickr.com/photos/27619644@N02/3068475086/][/img]

What part of Ohio is that???

And what's the airplane next to '264N? Looks like a Robin with an inline engine.....

There used to be an Inland Sport at one of the Maryland airports east of DC, don't know if it's still there or not, and I think Susan Dusenbury is restoring one down in the Carolinas.

That was taken in California back in the late 1960's early 70's.

I initially thought it was a DeHavilland Pussmoth....but the gear is not correct...I agree...it almost looks like a Curtiss Robin with an inline engine

That would be Flabob Airport (EAA Chapter One's field) back before the mobile home park and housing tracts across from the field. At least they left the mountain alone.....

Does anyone knows the owner's address of the newly restored Inland Sport shown on the Antique Airfield homepage. http://www.antiqueairfield.com/ ?
It's white with red sunburst and trim. Unfortunately the registration is not clearly readable. It might be NC254N.
