Oh yeah, Bon, you asked what I thought of the show? The experimental and classic collection was great, but the antiques were almost non-existant again. The schedule was supposed to have some warbird flying, but other than the Stearman, T-6's, and T-28's, three of each, that part was disappointing. Yes, Eddie and Getch flew, but that was it.

Would like to have seen a second pass by the T-38's and U-2 also, but even once was better than nothing.

I knew quite a few people there, so that helped with my enjoyment of the show, and the media people were good to me............Roger

I missed the U-2 and the T-38's. I had a good time. I felt like a big shot sitting under the T-28 wing while everyone else scorched :D I liked the warbirds, there was a lot of great 170's, I saw more RV-4's than I though existed. I really liked the one done up in military colors, It was pimped out on the inside too. Your friends Waco, was that the red YMF Super? I took a picture of that one too. I love those planes. I guess I'll see you in Santa Rosa. My bud saidSalinas in October is a must go to also.

Nope, my friends with the Waco were Frank and Gayle Womak with the deep blue/black AQC-6. They received the Fleming Trophy, which is always presented to a Waco.........
