Rare plane will remain home in the Heartland ---Pheasant

Pheasant plane that was built in 1938.

Larry Wiggins the plane's co-owner says that his plane is one of only three in existence.

“This was one of the top planes that was made in that era of time. This plane has a V-8 engine in it, a Curtis engine in it with a lot of horse power for the time it was made,” said Wiggins.

The EAA museum has a Pheasant H-10 on display with the Curtiss OX-5 engine, and the article is wrong, it was built in '28 not '38.
