Hello,

I'm trying to locate anyone who might have a good knowledge of civil C-119s in the U.S. as to the whereabouts of H&P Aviation C-119 N961S (10872).

It was a Greybull resident and was last sighted there in the 1980s before vanishing.....FAA records show it went to the USFS and while the scandal
that ensued in the late 80s involved many C-119s, most of them ended up in museums except theres no further record of N961S?

Any help or thoughts?

Cheers
Simon D. Beck

There are two of them on display at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Both of them were traded in the 1980’s from the fire bomber fleet.
