Out of curiosity, I tried to find the N number of the Robin to look up in the database. The only thing I could find is a model for sale that had the number NX9243. Looking the the FAA database reveals that NX9243 is not attached to an aircraft, but is reserved by none other than Paul Poberenzy. Maybe the EAA is going to get the aircraft. That would be cool.

From what I have heard, Corrigan's family still has the aircraft in storage. The plane is complete - engine and all...

Tom Reilly's place had a Fairchild KR-34 biplane hanging from the ceiling which had the same kind of engine as Corrigan's, a Wright J6-5, not the same engine.

The bipe was registered NC633C which I have as a KR34 - whatever that is!!

I have a pic somewhere, but haven't worked out how to post them!!

The KR-34 and several other "KR" models stands for Kreider-Reisner, which later became a division of the well known aircraft company Fairchild. While the KR's are not a common plane, we have three KR's owned here locally: Image

I'm not aware of any new info, but this more recent WIX thread from 2012 had a few interesting tidbits ...
