I was wondering what, if anything is/was being done about the age old plan to get the McDonnell 220 back into the air? Last I heard years ago was that it was sitting on the derelict ramp @ El Paso. Still a snazzy looking dinosaur- geek

Still there. Offered for sale (for the nth time!) in July 2011 by what appears to be..., well I don't know what it appears to be but it ain't an airplane broker.

If memory serves correct, that bird is currently owned by Mark Sherman, who also owns a flying F-104. I believe he bought it years ago from David Tokoph, whose F-100F is now flying with the Collings Foundation.
