Great pics Mike!! Have any more?! And color no less! 8)

Horrible Monster is neat.

I don't think the first yellow "tiger" and the one Mike posted is the same aircraft is it? And different still from Horrible Monster.

They are different a/c. The one I posted is out of the ETO.

I have more B-24 stuff but I think only one other color photo.
Will post some more later.

Mike

Nice thread, But I think someone at http://www.halun.com doesn't like Django hot linking from their website.

LOOK on page 3 of this thread and you'll see what I mean.

Hey everyone - I had to delete that entry by Django, it wasn't his fault, it was just the site that noticed the traffic coming from our site onto their servers and they lobbed a "retaliation" by replacing the shots he found with similarly named lewd shots.

Just another lesson of why you should never link from other sites for full photos and always download them and place them onto your own photo host.

What's really sad about this, is that the owner of http://www.halun.com has a real nice site dedicated in his Father's name to his service during WW2.

And he (being the person that swapped the pics) taints that tribute by pulling that 8th grader BS?

What a Bag of @ss.

(I know your looking at the thread so feel free to make post and explain why you like naked dudes and ball sack shampoo so much)

Oops, sorry! Glad I missed the Jr High chicanery though!

I usually try to credit where I find them. This guy has great pics and site dedicated to his Dad that you would think he would want to share. He built the site right? He couldn't send an email?

I signed his guest book...

I got an email back...

Django,

Tar Baby was a Carpetbagger/Radar Countermeasures airplane with the 482nd B.G., 36th Squadron. The 482nd flew some very unusual night missions with Mandrel and other equipment, and was attached to RAF 100 Group at least part of the time. She was a B-24J-5-DT, Tulsaboy! 8)
