I finally got to Udvar Hazy. Have to say I was mightily impressed. It is a tough place to take pics. Lots of people, lots of funky lighting and ground lights. I am no pro but I did get well over 500 shots off. Some are even clear....

Will post a couple. If you are interested in more or specific AC let me know.

That is the ONLY existing Nick in the world in the foreground. No wings, just the fuse.

I would recommend this as a "must see" for anyone going anywhere near Washington DC. In addition to the WWI and WWII stuff there are some incredibly historical GA types as well. There is a cool little home built. Actually it was butt ugly and likely flew like a dog but the plaque listed all the specifics and the builder and his helpers. How stinkin cool is that? Your tiny little project hanging in a Smithsonian museum for all to see, above a Concord. Or how about the Huff-Daland duster that helped start teh company which would grow and morph into Delta? That pretty much sums up the museum. Pretty much something for everyone interested in any aspect of aerospace.

Just plain cool!

Eric
