While I was too busy during the show I never had a chance to take any shots, so I'd love to see some shots other WIXers took of the show! Lets see em!

So how was the aircraft turnout for this year? It seems like most of what was posted on the list never made it in? Was weather really that bad? Did the Spit ever make it in?

The weather really didn't cooperate with us this year. Saturday had little to no real visibility, but some aircraft still flew. The B-25 took off towards the sound, hit a solid wall of fog, then turned right around and came back in. Sunday was far better, higher ceiling. Jim wasn't able to make it in with the Spit. We also weren't able to secure a Mustang down and some of the larger modern military aircraft weren't given enough notice. Jerry did everything he could with the budget from PALS, working directly with them, and trying to reorganize when particular planes became unavailable. Hopefully we'll have the theme for next year tacked down sooner so we can focus on trying to get more and different aircraft next year.

Racing. 8) The motorcycle rider also touched the wing of the plane. Pretty cool demo. Brother team, but I cant remember the name. Jerry could tell ya.

Thanks for the link Eric! Now that you and Bernadette have spent a little time in our neck of the woods, I'd like to officially decree you as true Nutmeggers! Kind of a silly name I know, but you guys are always welcome back to our field.

Anyone have any other pics from the event?
