Hello all,
This is my first time so, please bare with me. I am looking for information about the PBY's light system (during WW2) as follows:
Formation lights (blue); Anchor Lights (White); Recognition Lights (underside of starboard wing (Red, Green, Amber -forward to aft.?), Section Lights (blue); Tail Light (White)
I need to know where they were located on the wing (and body if any) with as much accuracy of location as possible.
Did I miss any?
I would also like to know how much of the wing was covered with doped fabric.
I know the Ailerons, Rudder and Elevator were covered in fabric and that the Trim tabs on all three wings were metal.
Thanks in advance
Mike
