Can anyone identify where this photo was taken? Based on a field elevation of 1,270 feet, I'm thinking it might have been Smoky Hill Army Airfield, Salina, Kansas, but it could be anywhere with that elevation. Note the mis-identification of the aircraft as an AT-10(!). Photo is from ebay.

I have a book titled "Directory of Airfields" dated Dec 1, 1944 that lists every airfield in CONUS and all the pertinent information for each. After going thru every page (139 of them) I did not find any that had exactly 1270 ft. However the closest were Smokey Hill AAF, KS at 1260 feet and Tinker AAF, OK at 1269 ft.

Of course, the aircraft is a Cessna UC-78 or AT-17 Bobcat.
