As far as I know, this is the only military piece on display in my town, a 155mm Howitzer!

The acreage for the park was donated by E. Merrill and Florence Beach, honoring their son Robert Beach, who was killed in World War II. At the age of 19 Robert Beach was killed on July 3rd, 1944 with 62 other soldiers when they were hit by a German V-Bomb while stationed in London. The park has a 155 Howitzer Cannon on display.
