I have been interested in the Pacific War since I was a kid. Dad served there with Austyralian Army Signals. Since 1995 I have made 10 trips to the Guadalcanal battlefields, alone and with friends. Still lots to see and I love to match up THEN AND NOW photos, so always looking for new Canal photos. The Marines shot 2.5 hours of 16mm color film there in 1942, but sadly it was all LOST in transit back to the States.
