Does anyone out there have in formation regarding a B-24 which crashed on Mount Bego (Mont Bégo), south-eastern France, in 1944? It would appear that some/all of the crew were killed, and that their bodies were recovered some time after the wreckage was discovered in October 1954 (ten years later).

Any help most welcome: contemporary newspaper reports & photos confirm that it was definitely a B-24, but very little else.
