Ah, poop! Dave, you know the AD is my favorite. You're gonna' make me drive all the way down to Waukegan just to drool all over her again.

And as far as your being off next week: I kinda' like when you're working...makes it easier to get your good side when taking pics.

Hope to catch up with you at Zack's if not sooner.

Well, I don't claim to be an expert, but let me go through my books and I'm certain I can give you some things to look at externally around the aft fuselage area to identify the differences.

jack973,
Do you have a picture or two of the Sabre you want to identify? There are some differences with fuselage panels as well as the canopy depending on the engine installed or the version of Canadair built models.

Jack973,
The CL-13 Mark 2 is identical the the F86E, but built by Canadair. Most of the CL13 Mark 2's were delivered to the USAF. Data tags may be the sure way to confirm whether a NAA or Canadair built Sabre in your case.
Sorry I couldn't be more definitive.

Will the F-86 make it to Wings over Waukesha as scheduled this coming weekend? Looking forward to a great airshow!

Unfortunately, I've heard we won't make it this year due to pilot availability. The Sabre is ready, but no one able to fly it this weekend.

As is the case in aviation, changes, the F86 Sabre will be coming to Wings over Waukesha on Sunday. The T2 will be the back up if needed.

Hi DGambo,
I'll copy the pages out of the maintenance manual pages with the deflections when I get back home.

Hello everyone,

a lot of really great pictures! thanks for those.
However, what I have not seen yet and can't seem to find anywhere is a Picture - or a few pictures - of the landing lights deployed of the F-86.
Does anyone have some of those? I am a scale RC-modeler and would love to re-create those lights with the retraction mechanism as close to the original as possible. Thanks
