Where would you send old military type guages for repair or overhaul?
can they do metric/European guages?

I would give Consolidated Instrument of Teterboro Nj a call. They have been in the business since 1946 and have an excellent reputation. They have serviced our instruments for a long time and are very good.

Ask for Eric Johannssen or OBJ Johannssen and tell them that we referred you.

Ralph Stahl has been overhauling our instruments on the B-17 for years, and does top notch work. A great guy too. He is at NW Regional Airport (52F)

Will any of these shops do an instrument that has a radium face? What do people usually do about getting period instruments overhauled if they have a radium face?

There are still a few shops that will remove radium during the overhaul process, but there are EPA compliant procedures.

Air Parts may still do this kind of work, 570-748-0823
