Anyone know what company, or companies, made the batteries for the B-29? Thanks.

The main winding was of the normal lotus-o deltoid type placed in panendermic semi-bolloid slots of the stator. Every seventh conductor being connected by a non-reversible tremmy pipe to the differential girdle spring on the up-end of the grammeters. Moreover, whenever fluorescent square motion is required, it may also be employed in conjunction with the drawn reciprocation dingle arm, to reduce sinusoidal depleneration.

The Maintenance and Erection Manual (revised 20 February 1945) that I have doesn't list manufacturers in the specifications, but it does refer to the battery as a "G-1, 34 ampere-hour, 24 volt battery". I don't know if the "G-1" designation would help to find the production source, but it's all I have.

Gill GE50C for current usage (and four Optimas crammed in the tail gunner's turret...but don't tell anyone).

Measure the space you have and I think you will find that four 12v 75ah batteries connected series parallel will give you all the power you need.
