Ryan, thanks for keeping us up to date on the project.

Are there more components to FM212's mid-upper turret than what's shown in your photos?

Regards,
Mike

Great stuff Ryan!

I love seeing so much work being done on this great machine.

So.... when does this thread get a "sticky"?

Cheers,

David

I think there is but I'll find out for sure on Saturday, I do know they have the 2 .50's that go in it though.

I second the "sticky" idea. I'd like to see this thread replace a couple of near-dormant ones.

I figured I'd post this here to see if we get any interest but here are the parts and things that the Lancaster group is currently looking for:

- Related items suitable for museum display invited i.e. flight suits and personal equipment and survival gear

- Trimetrigon Camera

- Sprocket Boxes (2)

- Carburetors (Stromberg PD 16) (x4)

- Spark Plugs for 1945 Packard - Rolls Royce Merlin 224 (x72)

- Martin 250CE manuals

- Rear Turret

- Nose Turret

It was pretty quiet today at the hanger, it was such a nice day here in Windsor that not many people came out to work on the plane. Nothing really new for updates right now, other than more work is being done on engine #3's firewall so it can be removed soon.

Mod Post - No argument here. But I (and I think the other Mods) don't have a 'Sticky' button - that's Scott's call alone. Suggest you drop him a PM and ask!

Happy Easter to you too.
