Greetings all,

I'm looking for a particular type of stick grip. I've seen them in Stearmans, a Harvard, and also as a grip on a pump handle in a C-47. I've found a place that can produce small runs of them but I need one for a sample. Can anybody help?

Looks like the bicycle grip type to me. I have a few on T-6 sticks, the problem is they're very hard to get off without damaging/destroying them. If I can cut one off would it still be usable as a pattern? Also, none of mine have a switch in them.

Thanks Chunks - I think that'll still work. I have had some success getting them off in the past by soaking them in hot water, but unfortunately after a decade or three they get kind of brittle. The switch was my addition.

They're on L-5s too. If you get them made I'd be interested in a few sets. Im sure Jim Gray would also.

Hi Taylor,

What's the diameter of the stick on the L-5? If I can get some made at a realistic price I'll do a decent production run and offer them for sale.

Our Yale has that stick with the mic switch on top too. No grip for it though.
