Does anyone know precisely what kind of glue was used in the construction of the DH Mosquito?

Aerolite.

Aircraft Spruce used to carry it, but I haven't seen it advertised on this side of the Atlantic in over a decade.

The Falco site lists some sources in the UK where it could be purchased back around 2000.

Thanks - I just read today that they used Aerolite but I always thought it had been Casein glue, not a plastic resin glue. The FAA/MOT's reservations about plastic resin glues tie in nicely with known glue failures on Mosquitos when operated in the tropics.

I thought I'd smear a little resorcinol on their furry, little paws, Jeff - just in case!! :drink3:
