Looking good! How complete is the cockpit and does she have a seat fitted? Also is the canopy glass faded?

The cockpit is very complete. There are a couple of missing panels that have been replaced with sheet metal. One of our volunteers, Gustav Hebrok, has been cleaning up the panels and addressing some of the missing items. The canopy glass looks good, it just needs a good clening with the proper cleaner. Twenty years of desert sand and dust have given it a good coating of grime.

One of the goals I have been waiting for; The ram's head has finally been applied to both sides:

I got a little done this week, The Airwing 17 marking is now on the tail, but I need to respace the "A" in VA-83 on the starboard side.

We also got a new addition with this G503 jeep being donated. It is a combination of Willys MB and Ford GPW components, but is overall a WW II vehicle:

We are to the point now that progress is in small increments. The museum plans an official dedication with an honored guest speaker (more on that when it becomes official). I am to the point now where all that is really left are the plethora of stencils. Today I used a Novus kit and cleaned the canopy.

I would like to obtain TERs or MERs, but for a load out a mix of weapons to show the assortment that could be carried. Possibly even a B-43 nuke!

Great job! She looks like you could fill her up with fuel and take her up for an hour or two! When did she retire from flying?
