The boring parts, treating corrosion around the base of the windscreen and gun sight mount. After all that I started test fitting various bits and pieces around the gun sight mount, some will stay in place ,others need more work Got the instrument invertor mounted after some profanity and brute force Then onto scrubbing and sorting panels to replace the ones stripped out of the cockpit A GGS control unit & switch panel was restored and installed along with a intercom amp. I located 897's audio panel base plate in amongst all the junk and gave it a bit of TLC Now onto rebuilding the observers switch panel. |

Some great looking progress there Steve. It must be fun to discover parts in your "junque" pile that used to belong to your Venom. As far as the profanity goes, I like to say that sometimes, a few good curse words are the best tools in the tool box Thanks for the update. What is to be her eventual fate? Andy Scott |
