The boring parts, treating corrosion around the base of the windscreen and gun sight mount. ![]() ![]() After all that I started test fitting various bits and pieces around the gun sight mount, some will stay in place ,others need more work ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Got the instrument invertor mounted after some profanity and brute force ![]() Then onto scrubbing and sorting panels to replace the ones stripped out of the cockpit ![]() ![]() A GGS control unit & switch panel was restored and installed along with a intercom amp. ![]() ![]() ![]() I located 897's audio panel base plate in amongst all the junk and gave it a bit of TLC ![]() ![]() Now onto rebuilding the observers switch panel. ![]() |

Some great looking progress there Steve. It must be fun to discover parts in your "junque" pile that used to belong to your Venom. As far as the profanity goes, I like to say that sometimes, a few good curse words are the best tools in the tool box ![]() Thanks for the update. What is to be her eventual fate? Andy Scott |
