Hawker Typhoon RB396

Mon May 18, 2015 1:46 pm

After a short 15 years the project is starting to build up and the web site is now up and running and thanks to one of the volunteers a facebook page to go with it (www.hawkertyphoon.com).

We are looking to get support numbers up so that word can be spread...unearth those drawings, parts, tools and engineering knowledge that is still out there somewhere.

RB396 is the only identifiable 2 TAF Typhoon that is a combat veteran, belly landing after flak damage. The fuselage still has the original paint scheme, roundel and squadron codes.

Any rumours no matter how small are always welcome....stop by and say hi :)
