This is a warbird site and no one knows where to find an engine? Are there any other sites that may know? |

For the V-3420, you can either forget it, or invest heavily in CAD/CAM. It was a very short experimental production run with a high attrition rate. Any existing engines are in museums that won't want to get rid of them without trading for something rarer or more interesting. Good luck with that. For a 1710, first figure out which variation you need. Then secure $20K-50K cash in hand for a core engine. Go to Barnstormers.com and make it known that you have said cash. Be patient. |
