Where can I get an 8-day clock restored?

Sun Feb 24, 2019 6:27 pm

I have a WW2 USAAF 8-day clock, made by Elgin, that needs servicing and cosmetic restoration. Who does this kind of work? My jeweler can't find anyone local who will work on it. One fellow did take a look, but he specializes in antique clocks rather than watches (these clocks have a watch-type movement).

Found a couple of places online that repair/restore aircraft clocks:

Also check with ForgottenField (John S.) on here. I think he still does them.
