I have several original WW2 painted parts that I want to restore/preserve.
I do not want to repaint them.
I want to bring out more of the original color that has faded and preserve stencil
What products / procedures should I use?
According to one source, I should use Microcrystalline Wax

I think a lot of guys use Conservators or Renaissance wax that the big museums use world wide..

Spray can of clear lacquer? Should soak in and darken it a bit as well as protect it.
