Hey all, names Brad, 38, live in Pacifica, CA just a couple miles south of San Francisco. I've always been a huge warbird fan thanks to all the models my father built (and I thought would fly in the front yard while he was at work, LOL) when I was young. My favorite birds are the F-86, B-24, and P-47's. I found this place while researching F-86 markings for a 45" wingspan RC plane I am building. I also have a 90" WS B-24 kit on the way. As I will never have the resources or money to have a real warbird (or even fly in one) the RC stuff will have to fill that void. Also I have been recently looking for any and all pictures of the Navy planes that were placed in Larsen Park in San Francisco. So far I know of three planes, an FJ-2 Fury, an F9F, and the recovered and statically restored F-8U. Here are pics of them in the park.
