Thrilled to have found this site. Keeping these types of "memories" alive is critical to not allowing future generations to forget about the sacrifices made by the WWII vets and their contributions to our way of life. Kudos to those of you involved in maintaining this site......
I am 64 years old - I see that makes me one of the "older" members - very interested in the history of the B-17 with noseart "Round Trip Ticket II". My father - Andrew S. Graczyk - was navigator with the original crew for this aircraft. I have a couple of photos I'd like to share, including one of the first crew shots with the original aircraft even before the noseart was added. The crew photo includes the position and name of each member as provided on the back of one of the original photos given to me by my father......
Not exactly sure how to post photos yet - or where to post them...............
Anyone seeking any information regarding the above - please feel free to contact me. I would really enjoy hearing from you and sharing any pertinent information......
