I am an aviation historian and author, having one book already published as a history of the Bristol 170 Freighter published by Air-Britain (Historians). As a follow up I am writing a new book under the title "From Lancaster to York" which will be a history of all the civil registered and research Lancasters (NOT the bomber fleet) plus full histories of the Avro 685 York and Avro 691 Lancastrian.
I would like to use some of the Avro York photographs in one of your message threads to illustrate my book, as the Canadian examples are very difficult to find photographs of from the UK. Permission to use these would be much appreciated and any further information members may have regarding the types mentioned above would be most helpful.
