Vietnam Combat Vet, and Uncle was on USS Maryland WWII

Mon Mar 09, 2015 5:58 pm

I am a disabled Vet and a War History Enthusiast....my Uncle was injured during a Kamikaze attack....and i finally got him to talk about it shortly before he died.

In Vietnam, I was on the first combat landing of Marines in 1965 and on the last ship to withdraw Combat Marines from Danang 1972....

I have much to learn here, so will shut up. Thanks to Col George McVeigh USAF for turning me on to this fascinating and genuine site...Cheers :drink3:
